Afternoon Tea
Our Offerings
Afternoon Tea is the quintessentially British meal traditionally consumed in the late afternoon. We offer it all day – it’s just too good to be confined to the afternoon! The base price is $40.*
We also offer Wee Tea, which is a version of afternoon tea tailored for children. The base price is $34.*
High Tea is a brand new addition to our menu. It has a a focus on savoury foods instead of the sweets, and makes a great lunch. The base price is $32.*
While Americans often use high tea and afternoon tea interchangeably, they’re actually very different meals. Traditionally, afternoon tea was taken by the upper class while the working class enjoyed high tea.
Cream Tea is a very light meal consisting of a pot of tea and a scone with clotted cream and jam. Cream Tea is only available on weekdays, and is fantastic pick-me-up for someone who wants a brief respite from the rigors of city life. Pricing is $15.*

Tea is served in our new Hyde Park Room, which is nearly twice the size of our previous space. We accept parties from 1 to 16 guests. While we do accept walk-ins, we still highly encourage you to make a reservation if you visit us on Saturday or Sunday. We are often completely booked up on weekends and cannot guarantee you a table without a reservation.

Secure parking is available in the garage at 1950 Olive Street, and metered street parking is available all around us.
We’ll be less than 5 minutes off I-64 once a new interchange at 22nd St. is complete in early 2023. For now, the easiest way to access us from I-44 (east and west) and I-64 (east) to take Jefferson Ave. north and turn right onto Locust. From I-64 west, exit at 9th St. and turn left on Market, right on 20th St., then right on Locust.
