We’re proud to offer a unique experience in the Downtown West neighborhood of St. Louis. The Hupmobile Building dates back to the 1890s and has the wonderful industrial charm that historic St. Lous buildings are known for. The style has much in common with Victorian London, and we added our own touches to better reflect our memories of growing up in southern England.

We have a number of packages available depending on your needs. We can host parties of up to 200 guests across two rooms on the second floor that can be rented individually or together, or you can rent the whole building for parties of up to 250! You’re not limited to tea, either – we’ve partnered with several local caterers to offer a wide selection of cuisines.

  • Weddings, receptions, showers, birthday parties, family reunions, corporate meetings, retirement parties, and graduation celebrations are just some of the events we have hosted. We’re up for just about any type of event that you need!

  • The pricing consists of three parts: 1) the venue fee, 2) the catering fee, and 3) extras and add-ons.

    All events pay a venue fee to secure the room. This fee varies depending on the room, day, and length of the event.

    The catering fee varies based on who you choose as caterer.

    Extras and add-ons include everything from a staffed coat check to an open bar. Depending on your event there may be nothing extra needed.

  • There is a 3 hour minimum for all events.

  • All weekend events must be catered. On weekdays we may have availability for your event to rent the room with no catering. However, we do not allow outside food or beverages.

  • Yes, there is a ramp leading to the front door, and an elevator servicing both floors of our space.

The Royal We! Your party can enjoy our famous afternoon tea. We have a $750 food/beverage minimum for weekdays and a $1000 food minimum for weekend afternoons.

The Hyde Park Room

Named in honor of both the Royal Park in London and the historic neighborhood of St. Louis, the Hyde Park Room is where we serve afternoon tea and houses our retail shop. It is only available for private events during the evening.
